The Council’s experienced and supportive staff is dedicated to helping those suffering from addiction to realize their full potential and learn the skills to live life productively again. Our facilities offer a place where one can safely begin the recovery process. Our staff and facilities are licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). There are numerous testimonials to the success of our programs.
Our treatment programs are all outpatient, with sessions scheduled at times convenient for the client. It includes a family element that addresses the special needs of families, and works to assist in moving them towards a healthier way of living. Our focus is primarily on substance abuse, but we recognize that other issues may complicate the recovery process. We carry out appropriate referrals to competent professionals to help as well as connecting clients to a wide array of local community resources.
No one is turned away due to inability to pay. Our agency utilizes a sliding scale fee for those who are able to pay, based on income. If eligible, clients can use DSHS funding or if you have insurance our staff will let you know how your insurance can help pay for the cost of substance abuse treatment.
