The Prevention & Addiction Council is a community-based, non-profit organization located in Corpus Christi, Texas providing outpatient treatment services to those suffering from addiction. We also have a wide array of prevention, intervention and education programs. We serve 12 counties which include Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kennedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio County.
Mission Statement: Our mission is to serve a multi-county region with a continuum of care in the prevention, intervention and treatment of the disease of alcoholism and other drug abuse for individuals, families and communities.
We provide outpatient treatment for youth and adults. Our counselors are all licensed and credentialed to provide the most comprehensive, successful outpatient treatment available.
We have a “no wrong door” policy which means we will find someone to help you if we cannot meet your particular needs. No one is turned away because of inability to pay.
Our education programs target at-risk youth, often working with families, schools, and other support systems to prevent the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other harmful substances.
