Project Towards No Drug Abuse




Target Audience: 
Middle School to High School students ages 12 through 17 years old

Objectives

  • Stop or reduce the use of cigarettes, alcohol, marijuana and hard drugs.
  • Stop or reduce self-reports of weapn carrying.
  • State accurate information about environmental, social, physiological and emotional consequences of drug use and abuse.
  • Demonstrate behavioral and cognitive skills.
  • Make a personal commitment about drug use. 

Implementation:
Project TND follows a curriculum of 12 classroom-based lessons, approximately 30 to 50 minutes each.

Project Link
Pregnant/Post Partum Intervention Progam

Project Link is a program for pregnant and post partum women identified as having high risk problems.  Project Link staff understands substance abuse and the problems drugs and alcohol can cause in a woman’s life.  Project Link counselors will help and support individuals with the services needed to begin living a healthier and happier life.

 Project Link Goal:
To intervene with the substance use/abuse of pregnant adult and  adolescent women and reduce the incidence of drug exposure of  their unborn, newborn, and young children in order to promote a healthy lifestyle.
