The Council on Alcohol + Drug Abuse Coastal Bend is a private non-profit organization that serves a multi-county region with a continuum of care in prevention, intervention, and treatment of the disease of alcoholism and other drug abuse for individuals, families, and communities.

For over 65 years, the Council has provided hope and healing to those who have experienced addiction. The Council strives to provide an outstanding continuum of care with services such as youth and adult treatment, recovery support services for youth and adults, parenting support, and prevention. The Council serves 12 Coastal Bend counties, including Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio.

THE COUNCIL
Is a non-profit agency working in the Coastal Bend community for those who have experienced or are experiencing addiction. The organization is led by an executive board and staff from the communities we serve. They include those who have experienced addiction in their own lives, professionals with skills that assist the agency, and advocates seeking to help those we serve and the communities we work in. We are funded through a combination of donations, grants, and contracts to provide varying services by location. We are a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization subject to IRS rules and regulations.
