PADRE Program EligibilityMales must be referred by the Department of Family & Protective Services (DFPS) and have
children under the age of six + Involved in teen pregnancy (includes males through age 19)
+ Current or past involvement with the DFPS or other child protective services agency + Current or past use/abuse of, or dependence on, alcohol and/or drugs + Current or past intimate partner violence + Current or past mental health problems + Living in a household with a person who abuses alcohol or drugs + Current or past history of sexual, emotional or physical abuse + Current or past drug and/or alcohol-related criminal offenses + Financial distress |
All services are FREE & confidential. PADRE staff serve Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, and San Patricio counties.
