While talking with a friend of our agency the other day, she mentioned how hard it was to make people accept that she did not want a drink while they were out at a bar. Her friends tirelessly insisted that she do a shot with them or have something other than ice water but our friend remained strong for she had an early morning run the next day.
Everyone has different reasons why they can't or simply don't want to drink alcohol. Maybe you're in recovery, or you're breastfeeding, or you're in the middle of a hard core training plan, or you're on a diet (so many carbs in alcohol). Either way, you don't want a drink. But it is fun having something colorful and tasty in your hands to drink or ward off peer pressure.
